The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ Video

Members of the Mormon Church read, love and revere both the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon. Along with the Bible, Mormons believe that the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ.

To those who love the Bible, we invite you to also read the Book of Mormon with an open mind and heart. In John 21:25, John ends his account by writing, "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written." If there were more to know about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, wouldn't every Christian want to read it? As another witness of Him, the Book of Mormon testifies that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the World, and the Living Christ.

The narration of the video is as follows:

"The Bible is a record that testifies of Jesus Christ. It foretells His coming and bears witness of His saving role as our Redeemer. The Old Testament is an account of God's dealings with His people before the birth of Christ. It was written by prophets and contains commandments, as well as prophecies about the coming of the Savior.

"The New Testament is an account of the ministry and teachings of Jesus in the Holy Land. We read of His birth, His miracles, His doctrine, His death and Resurrection. There is also another testament of Jesus Christ -- the Book of Mormon.

"It is a record spanning the thousand year history of a people who lived on the American continent. Prophets among them foretold the coming of Christ. They described His visit among these people following His death and Resurrection.

"You can read the full account of the Savior's ministry among these people in the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ."
