What Do Mormons Believe about Jesus Christ Video

A common question by those unfamiliar with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is "What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ?" The Church publishes a magazine each month, entitled The Ensign, with articles contributed from members. This past April, there was a special edition of The Ensign produced, with articles about the Savior from cover to cover. This is the magazine that is shown in the video below, mentioning some of the highlights of each article.

In addition, for more information about what Mormons believe about Jesus Christ, visit http://jesuschrist.lds.org/. The narration of the video is found below.

We testify of Jesus Christ. He is the central focus of our worship. He is our King, our Lord, our Master, the Living Christ who stands on the right hand of His Father.

Who is Jesus Christ? He is our Redeemer. He ransomed us with His blood.

Faith in Jesus Christ not only brings blessing in this life, but it is essential to our eternal salvation and exaltation.

The Atonement of the Only Begotten Son of God is the greatest expression of divine love this world has even been given.

Come unto Christ. It is the most important invitation you could ever offer to another person. It is the most important invitation anyone could accept.

Become a witness of Christ. People should be able to see in us something of Jesus Christ. The way we act, speak, look and even think should reflect Him and His ways.

His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come.

Like the Polar Star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives. He is the Rock of our Salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith.

God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son.

Here are some other things about Jesus that you did not mention:

He is the only way to the Father:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(KJV)

He is equal with God,which means He is God:

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

It is a very pity that all these videos are only in English

I agree. I wish that people who spoke both English and another language could help translate these videos!
